Enviroranger Tool
ECT provides graphical templates to help users set up many applications that the ERS 500 has been designed to monitor and control. Once the setup is complete the user can save the template settings and re-use it for similar applications.
ECT also provides an easy to use data log extraction tool. While connected to the ERS 500 users simply request the data. Once the data has been extracted ECT can then chart the data or export it to a Microsoft® Excel compatible data file. ECT is a Windows®-based software program that interfaces to the EnviroRanger® ERS 500 via a local RS 232 serial port. Changes to the ERS 500 parameter set by ECT are listed in the support documentation, broken out for each application template. A guide for the downloading of the data log is also provided.

Software Installation
- Download the software using the link above.
- Un-zip the files onto your hard drive (you will require a program such as WinZip to do this).
- Run setup.exe and follow the prompts on the screen.
