The Merus Ring is an innovative device that is installed around home/industrial water pipes sending micro-fine oscillations to influence the water and disturb the rust, lime scale, algae, legionella or paraffin wax. Merus is available in four different applications:
- Standard Ring - For use when corrosion/rust & lime scale are the main problem in domestic or low water flow usage
- Industrial Ring – For use when corrosion/rust & lime scale are the main problem
- Bio Ring – For use with microbiological pollution e.g. bio fouling, bio film, algae
- High capacity versions of the Industrial and Bio Rings are available
Merus rings are available in sizes from 0.5 inch to 24 inch diameters and we are capable of manufacturing custom sizes at the customer’s request. EASY to INSTALL as Emerald Systems send an engineer to fit the Merus Ring on the most efficient location of the pipe.
How does it work?
State of the art technology makes it possible to store and release bio signals (molecular oscillations) on information media. These signals can be superimposed on the natural oscillations of scale in water. Thus the solubility of scale in water is reduced.
Rust is a combination of trivalent iron with oxygen. By altering the charges, Merus can transform trivalent iron into bivalent iron. Rust particles are dislodged and flushed out until a protective film of saturated ferrous oxide is formed on the iron.
Merus is already installed worldwide in a number of different facilities including cruise ships, hotels, leisure centres, hospitals and water treatment centres.
