Wetted Retrofit
The wetted ultrasonic retrofit solution from Siemens encompasses two different types that can be utilized in numerous applications within each of their field. Both can be retrofitted into existing pipelines. Retrofitting is mostly used for large pipe sizes and can be mounted in various pipe materials such as steel, concrete, plastic etc. It is a cost-effective and easy to install solution because all components needed for the installation are included in the package. The construction is solid with no moving parts and no additional pressure drop.
SITRANS F US SONOKIT/FUS060
The mains powered SITRANS F US SONOKIT is suitable for various high performance and pressure pipes ranging from DN 100 to 4000 (from 4" to 160"). The kit includes all necessary parts and special tools to make a complete installation of a 1-, 2- or 4-track flowmeter on an empty pipe. Hot tap installation can be performed by means of extra tools. It is available in an EX approved version and has analog output as well as bus communication. Media temperature can be up to 200 ºC (392 ºF).
SITRANS FUS880
The SITRANS FUS880 is a battery-powered flowmeter, which can be used for irrigation and water supply management. It is designed for pipes ranging from DN 200 to 1200 (from 8" to 48") and has the option between 1 and 2 tracks. The flowmeter can be installed in low pressure pipelines made of various materials such as plastics and concrete and is approved for underground installation and operation. Media temperature can be up to 60 ºC (140 ºF).
